Speechelo is a web-based text-to-speech (also called TTS) software which will turn ordinary text into a high-quality, perfectly audible speech. With state-of-the-art technology, the software enables you to transform any ordinary text into a completely human-sounding voice in only 3 easy steps: paste your text, select a language and a voice, then generate and hear your result. Speechelo is intended to be a completely-integrated solution for people wishing to communicate with people through SMS/text messages. The software uses the text-to-speak technology of speech-to-text which means that it can also deliver voice.
Speechelo is more than just another text editor. It offers much more than that. With speechelo you can transform any ordinary document into a fully-voiced text file, even if it doesn’t have a voice. The software offers a wide range of features, allowing it to be used for transcription, business communication, personal communication, writing, persuasive writing, editing, presentations, music, movies, games, and so on. Speechelo also has additional features such as full support for PDF, PostFTP, POP3, and SFTP.
To enable its true potential, Speechelo needs to be integrated with the most robust translation and voice recognition technologies. Speechelo provides several approaches for doing this. Some of these are: Enrich English, Word strengthens English, improves spellings, removes redundancies, and aligns sentences. These enhancements provide the clearest picture of how it translates texts.
A major advantage of Speechelo is that it comes with an ai engine, which extracts information from audio files and translates it into text. The ai engine enables the software to detect sentence boundaries, attach accents to certain words, and correctly align the words. Speechelo thus gives you the highest quality voiceovers with reduced time devoted to fine-tuning the voice.
There are some limitations of Speechelo that I would like to mention. Mainly, the voices that come out of Speechelo are not always of high quality, especially compared to commercially available softwares. Another limitation is that with the exception of a few customized words (such as the terms of the company), there is no support for multiple languages. However, the overall performance of the product is best text to speech software.
The biggest advantage of Speechelo over its competitors is the way that it converts text to speech. Unlike most text-to Speech software, which goes through a huge amount of research and development in order to come up with optimized sentences and phrases, Speechelo does all of the heavy lifting for you. In other words, you only need to tell Speechelo what kind of thing you want it to do for you and it’ll do the rest. For example, you could tell it to create a new document based on a given template or generate a sales brochure based on a given header. It takes the burden off of you because you don’t have to be concerned with writing long strings of keywords or figuring out how to properly punctuate and format each sentence.
Speechelo also comes with a number of different options. One of the more popular features is the option to turn off the background music. With the volume on, Speechelo can replace your computer’s speaker icon with an appropriately themed voice. This makes it extremely convenient for people who hate typing out long voiceovers that they end up sounding robotic and cliched. Another neat feature of Speechelo is that it allows you to transcribe any type of YouTube videos, allowing you to provide captions and recordings that are appropriate for use with your own videos.
In conclusion, I liked what I saw of Speechelo. It is very easy to use and comes with a variety of different voices for use with YouTube audios. It is very flexible and useful. It doesn’t take up much space on your computer, so if you are running Windows XP or Vista, you should be able to easily install and run Speechelo without too many problems.
